Submission of New Study Concepts
Thank you for your interest in submitting a research protocol concept to the Sarcoma Alliance for Research through Collaboration. SARC welcomes new study concepts at any time. We have been successful in conducting investigator-initiated studies as well as in collaborating with pharmaceutical companies to conduct clinically meaningful studies designed to advance the care of sarcoma patients. If you have an idea and are interested in being a study principal investigator for a SARC study, please see below for information about the concept submission and review process.
The following outlines the steps in this process for your completion and information:
- Please fill out a SARC New Study Concept Form
- Submit the SARC Protocol Concept Form via email to sarc@sarctrials.org
- The SARC Protocol Concept will be reviewed by the SARC Concept Review Committee
- Feedback will be provided
Important components to note include:
- All trials will require review and input of a SARC statistician, and
- Brief description of interaction with potential pharmaceutical sponsor (if applicable)
If approved by SARC, we will work in concert with you in preparation of Letters of Intents (LOIs), concept sheets, grants necessary to provide financial support or drug for the proposed study.
Please note: all forms submitted to outside institutions involving proposed SARC studies need to be submitted to SARC for prior approval.
