Honoring Christian Cozens

Sadly, today SARC learned that Christian Cozens has lost his battle with chondroblastic osteosarcoma. Evermore we are reminded of the urgent need for more effective treatment. Our thoughts are with Christian’s family and friends.

"We are excited to tell everyone that Douglas Freeman Lacrosse is hosting a benefit game in honor of Christian this Friday, March 18th. The game is at Douglas Freeman and against St. Christopher’s; JV at 6:00pm and Varsity at 7:30pm. All gate proceeds will be donated to SARC (Sarcoma Alliance for Research through Collaboration) in honor of Christian and his fight against cancer. SARC is a research collaboration just for Sarcomas, including Christian’s cancer, Osteosarcoma. We know each and every one of you wants to do something to help, so if you can attend, we will see you there. Please spread the word about this awesome event, and hopefully the proceeds will one day help eliminate this rare bone cancer and the pain and suffering it inflicts."
