A registered SARC Center is an institution, center, or practice that is affiliated with our organization by sharing our commitment to sarcoma research through collaboration. SARC centers are interested in actively working with other SARC constituents in regard to laboratory and/or clinical research.

Institutions interested in participating in SARC clinical trials should begin by completing a SARC institutional membership survey which seeks information about your site’s capabilities for conducting sarcoma clinical research. Once the membership survey has been reviewed and approved we will confirm your membership status and provide information regarding upcoming SARC trials.
Please note that budget limitations or small pilot studies may limit the number of feasible participating sites.
When appropriate and feasible, international sites that have registered their institution will be included in a trial-specific survey.
In the event that we receive qualified SARC trial participation requests from more sites than required and/or feasible, SARC’s Medical Officer and President & CEO together (in consultation with the study’s principal investigators) will make a final selection based on geographic distribution and access to the targeted patient populations. In addition, past participation and performance in SARC trials (if applicable) will be included among the selection factors. Sites that are qualified but are not selected to participate at this time will be noted by SARC and, subject to subsequent trial requirements, these sites will be favorably considered for participation in new studies.
SARC will maintain a database of the institutional membership information so that sites can be contacted with new trial opportunities. Annual updates will be requested from each institution.
