David Liebner

Dr. Liebner is an Assistant Professor at Ohio State University in the Department of Internal Medicine (Division of Medical Oncology) and the Department of Biomedical Informatics (Division of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics). His primary research interest is the development of novel approaches to integrate genomic, epigenetic, and proteomic data to better understand cancer biology.

His current work includes computational approaches to biomarker discovery in heterogeneous tissues and the development of analytic approaches to better understand drug responses in cancer. He is looking to evaluate the nuances of sarcoma biology through registry studies, computational modeling, and biomarker studies. His primary research will continue to be translational in nature with the goal of leveraging findings to inform clinical trial development and design.
