SARC is the only research foundation solely focused on achieving scientific breakthroughs in the treatment of all types of sarcoma. Through collaborative team science initiatives supported by a centralized dedicated research staff, SARC provides researchers access to standardized biorepositories and databases, foundation-sponsored clinical trials, and multiple programs to support and encourage clinical and laboratory research.

SARC is a US-based 501(c)(3) non-profit cancer research organization which leads domestic and international collaborative discovery, translational research, and clinical trials in sarcoma. SARC was formed in 2003 by the sarcoma research community to bring together the best cancer centers and researchers in the world. Among other accomplishments, SARC has completed 21 innovative clinical trials, with six more underway. SARC’s unique ability to promote collaboration and unity among leading sarcoma researchers ensures that “things get done.”
