Dr. David Van Mater is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Duke University in the Department of Pediatrics Division of Hematology/Oncology. He received his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester and his MD with Distinction in Research from the University of Michigan Medical School.
Dr. Van Mater is currently working in the lab of David Kirsch, MD, PhD, where he is using a genetically engineered mouse model of soft tissue sarcoma to explore genetic and environmental factors driving sarcoma formation.
