Sarah Cohen-Gogo, MD PHD

Dr. Sarah Cohen-Gogo is a Staff Oncologist at the Hospital for Sick Children, an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, and a Transition Clinician Scientist in Genetics, Genome, and Biology at the SickKids Research Institute in Toronto, Canada. She earned her MD from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie and her PhD in cancer genetics from the Université Paris Descartes in Paris, France.

Her main research interest is in leveraging genomic knowledge to inform precision trials in high-risk solid cancers, with a particular focus on neuroblastoma and sarcoma. She is a co-investigator for more than 10 early-phase clinical trials aimed at pediatric patients with hard-to-treat solid tumors. She is also a qualified investigator for the precision oncology program – SickKids’ Cancer Sequencing Program (KiCS), a member of the C17-Developmental Therapeutics Committee, and of the pan-Canadian PRecision Oncology For Young peopLE (PROFYLE) Therapeutics Node and Molecular Tumour Board Committee.
