Val Stevenson Caregiver/Patient Advocate Val is a retired special education teacher and school administrator, born, raised and living in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. She is passionate about helping young people and has an interest in improving outcomes for sarcoma patients. Val is the proud parent of 3 adult children. Her middle son (33 years old) is currently battling desmoplastic small round cell tumor sarcoma.
