Given the conference emphasis on basic science, applications are encouraged from individuals whose research focuses on or connects with lab science. The SARC DTC is raising funds to defray travel/lodging expenses for early career participants. SASS participants, except those attending only a Breakout session, will contribute $100 towards meal, AV, and other costs.

Applications are also particularly encouraged from populations underrepresented in medicine or science.
