Poster Presentations

All SASS attendees are strongly encouraged to present posters. This will be by far the best opportunity to highlight your work and connect with other SASS participants.

Early career attendees who present a poster and attend SASS-y will receive Young Investigator Travel Awards to defray travel/lodging costs.

Young Investigator Travel Awards

YIA cover travel and lodging expenses for all early career attendees, including doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows, clinical fellows, and faculty within first five years of independent appointment. YIA recipients participate in the SASS-y meeting and dinner on Monday October 13 and do either platform or poster presentations at SASS. YIA will be dispersed in the form of reimbursements following the conference.

Driving

Kindly note that parking is very limited on NIH campus. Visitors are highly recommended to park in MLP-11 garage (off-campus/ no inspection required) for $12/day. Visitors may also proceed to Building 66A (Gateway Inspection Station) and park on main campus.

Parking is also available at the Bethesdan Hotel for $35/day or $20/night

SASS 2025 primary location: Natcher Conference Center E1/E2 at 45 Center Drive

To access Natcher, enter NIH campus through the Gateway Center (Building 66A) for security check. You will be asked for one form of identification (government issued photo ID-driver’s license, passport, green card) at security. You will go through security check every time you enter NIH campus.
