Dr. David Liebner is a Clinical Scientist and Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology, at Ohio State University, where he serves as the Section Lead for Sarcoma in the Division of Medical Oncology and as Associate Director of the Sarcoma Disease Group for the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC).  He currently serves as the PI on an experimental sarcoma registry at the Ohio State University [NCT02677961] which is focused on integrating conventional as well as emerging clinical datapoints such as digital histopathology, DNA/RNA sequencing, circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), QoL metrics (PROMIS10, PRO-CTCAE), etc., for the purpose of cohort identification, clinical trial matching, and treatment response modeling.  His current research focuses on the development of scalable computational models of sarcoma initiation and progression with the aim of leveraging real-world to optimize treatment paradigms.  He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, 37 published abstracts and presentations, and holds 1 patent and 2 pending patents based on computational methodologies.
