IN MEMORIAM
Dr. Brian Van Tine, MD, PhD
September 29, 1972–November 8, 2025

Dr. Van Tine believed deeply that scientific progress depends on bringing people together, sharing data, exchanging ideas, and building meaningful collaborations. Participation in major scientific meetings is often transformative for early-career clinicians and scientists, yet financial barriers too often can limit access. These travel awards will help to ensure that they can engage fully with the global sarcoma research community.

Initial start-up funding for the Brian Van Tine Early Career Travel Award was provided by an anonymous donor. We urge you to join us in sustaining and growing this effort via your contribution(s) and help establish the Travel Award as a multi-year program. To learn how to make your tax-deductible contribution, please contact sarc@sarctrials.org.
