In her current role as Managing Principal Counsel, Clinical Research at McKesson, Jill serves as the General Counsel of Sarah Cannon Research Institute, providing strategic counsel to executive leadership and management on clinical research, drug development, strategic transactions and partnerships, risk management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, ethical oversight, and data privacy & security.

 

In her former role as Chief Legal Officer at miR Scientific, LLC, Jill was a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, actively shaping the company’s research and commercialization strategies. She led critical strategic transactions and successfully secured critical licenses, certifications, and accreditations. Jill played a substantial role in guiding the organization’s transformation from a startup to a fully operational commercial enterprise.

 

Prior to joining miR Scientific, Jill spent 14 years at the law firm of Moses & Singer LLP in New York City, where she represented high-profile biotechnology companies, large healthcare systems, clinical laboratories, and prominent nonprofit research organizations. She closed significant research & development,  mergers & acquisitions, licensing deals, and revenue-sharing transactions.

 

In her early career, Jill held roles as an attorney at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Partners Healthcare System, and Hale and Dorr (now WilmerHale).

 

Ms. Anderson currently serves as an Independent Director of Olenox Corp. (NASDAQ: SGBX), where she is a member of the Compensation and Audit Committees, and as a Director of My Patient Global, Inc. Her nonprofit board experience includes service on the Board of Advisors and Governance Committee of Fight Cancer Global, as well as prior trustee and nonprofit board roles.
