Dr. Mariño-Enríquez is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. where he will be appointed Instructor in Pathology starting July 2012. He received his medical degree at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain. He completed a Pathology Residency at the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid, Spain. He was also a visiting fellow with Dr. Reyes-Mugica at the Pediatric and Developmental Pathology Program, Yale University, New Haven, CT.
SARC is pleased to award Dr. Mariño-Enríquez the 2012 SARC Career Development Award to support his project entitled: “Genome-wide functional characterization of GIST: Strategies to maximize kinase-inhibitor response.”
