Christine Pratilas, MD Pediatrics & Cellular and Molecular Medicine, John Hopkins University School of Medicine Dr. Christine Pratilas is a pediatric oncologist at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and Associate Professor of Oncology, Pediatrics & Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Drew University and her medical degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (now Rutgers University). Dr. Pratilas completed her fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and joined the John Hopkins pediatric sarcoma team in 2014 where she is currently investigating sarcoma research in children, adolescents, and young adults with a focus on the application of small molecule therapeutics to solid tumors harboring oncogenic activation of RAS and RAS effector pathways. In addition, Dr. Pratilas emphasizes interrogation of adaptive signaling responses to small molecule inhibition of the ERK signaling pathway, to identify factors that predict and condition response to targeted therapeutics and to design novel treatment strategies.
