Daphne Edgren Harvard University MPH Candidate Daphne Piper Edgren is a Clinical Research Project Manager and Medical Writer at a comprehensive cancer center, where she specializes in writing principal investigator-initiated clinical research protocols, primarily in sarcoma, neuro-oncology, and pediatric oncology. She currently serves as the medical writer on over 20 active research protocols and has contributed to more than 40 clinical trials throughout her career. An artist by training, Daphne earned her BFA with honors from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), where she began her research career as a research assistant. Over the past decade, she has held research roles at many institutions, including Mount Sinai Hospital, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and The University of Chicago Medical Center, advancing to Senior Clinical Research Coordinator before transitioning to oncological protocol development and medical writing. She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, with a focus on improving access to sarcoma expertise.
