Dian Wang, MD PhD Rush Medical College Dian Wang, MD, PhD has been designated a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2013 and is internationally known for his contributions to the field of Radiation Oncology and Sarcoma. He is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at Rush Medical College at Rush University. He is a fellow of the American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). Dr. Wang has been dedicated to clinical sarcoma research for years. He was the principle investigator of the national sarcoma study (RTOG0630) and co-chairs of several other national sarcoma studies. He has served as the chair of NRG Sarcoma since 2010. He also runs the NCI Sarcoma Interest Group and assists review of novel Sarcoma clinical trial concepts within the NCI. He is the thought leader in Sarcoma Radiation Oncology, and is frequently asked to speak on the topic nationally and internationally. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Rare Tumors and as a reviewer for multiple high impact journals within the field. Dr. Wang have served as President of SANTRO, the premier organization for Radiation Oncologists of Chinese heritage. Through this organization he has mentored, sponsored, and promoted the work of many Chinese Radiation Oncologists in the US and China.
