Eva Gallagher is the Vice President, Head of Medical Affairs at Agios Pharmaceuticals and Assistant Professor, Georgetown University. She received her PhD in Nursing and Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Gallagher is responsible for hiring and development of two teams of Medical Science Liaisons across the country and for the oversight of patient advocacy department and initiatives in oncology, hematology and rare diseases.

Previously, Eva worked as a nurse practitioner in oncology and hematology and then transitioned into research within the biotech industry. Her extensive oncology career includes leadership roles within medical affairs where she was responsible for oversight of all scientific content as well as business development outside of the United States. Eva Gallagher joined the SARC Board of Directors in January 2019.
