Janai R. Carr-Ascher, MD PhD UC Davis Health Medical Center Dr. Carr-Ascher is a medical oncologist at UC Davis in the Division of Hematology and Oncology and the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. She completed her MD/PhD training at the University of Illinois, Chicago focusing on dysregulation of development pathways in cancer. This was followed by Internal Medicine residency training at UCSF and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at UCLA. Her research lab focuses on developing in vivo models to understand sarcoma subtype heterogeneity, development, progression, and metastasis.
