Daphne Edgren Joins SARC Steering Committee & Leads Sarcoma Awareness Campaign December 1, 2025 Daphne Edgren, a Master of Public Health candidate at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, has joined SARC’s Sarcoma Centers Directory Steering Committee. In this role, Daphne works closely with Chappie Conrad, MD, Chair of the SARC Sarcoma Centers Directory, to support the ongoing development and expansion of this vital resource, which connects patients with expert sarcoma treatment centers. Together, they are advancing initiatives to improve accessibility and awareness of specialized sarcoma care. As part of her Harvard practicum, Daphne is also leading a Sarcoma Awareness Campaign to increase public understanding of sarcoma, promote early diagnosis, and emphasize the importance of multidisciplinary, expert care. The campaign will feature digital outreach, patient stories, and clinician spotlights to amplify the Directory’s visibility and reach. Through her mentorship with Dr. Conrad and her practicum at Harvard, Daphne is helping bridge gaps in rare cancer awareness, empowering patients, caregivers, and clinicians alike.
