SARC041 Plenary Sesison at ASC0 2026

We are honored to highlight SARC041: A phase 3 randomized double-blind study of abemaciclib versus placebo in patients with advanced dedifferentiated liposarcoma.

SARC041 was one of just five “practice changing” studies selected (from more than 8,500 competing abstracts) for presentation during the highly prestigious ASCO 2026 Plenary in Chicago on May 31. In brief, SARC041 established abemaciclib as a new standard of care for advanced dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLPS), significantly improving progression-free survival (PFS) over placebo. “These findings are especially encouraging because they show a targeted therapy can meaningfully delay disease progression in a cancer that has long been challenging to treat,” said Mark A. Dickson, MD, SARC041 Principal Investigator, medical oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
