SARC Announces New Co-Facilitators for Research Advocacy Council October 20, 2026 SARC is pleased to announce Annie Achee, Felice Alder MD, and Elsa Keeler MD as the new co-facilitators of the SARC Research Advocacy Council (RAC). The SARC RAC connects individuals with personal experience with sarcoma and representatives of advocacy organizations to help ensure that patient perspectives inform research priorities and initiatives. As the Council begins this new chapter, its leadership sees an opportunity to reflect on its purpose and explore new ways to advance patient-centered research. “Each member brings to the RAC both our own experience with sarcoma as a patient or caregiver as well as a connection to the advocacy organizations we represent”, said Dr. Keeler. “This is a great time to re-evaluate the purpose and future of the RAC in advocating for patients in research at SARC and exploring collaborations in the wider sarcoma community.” SARC looks forward to the Council’s continued evolution under Annie’s, Felice’s, and Elsa’s leadership while strengthening the role of patient advocacy in shaping sarcoma research and improving outcomes for those affected by the disease.
