Chawla-Luskin Symposia Photo

SARC is pleased to announce the launch of a new, persistent sarcoma symposia series, made possible by the generous contributions of Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Luskin and Dr. and Mrs. Sant Chawla. Each of the semiannual Chawla-Luskin Symposium talks will address scientific and clinical challenges and opportunities facing the sarcoma field, each designed to help advance collaboration, education, and innovation in sarcoma research.

These generous sponsorships will establish and sustain the series and create opportunities for meaningful scientific exchange among sarcoma investigators, clinicians, researchers, and other members of the sarcoma community.

The Chawla-Luskin Symposia Series will feature keynote sessions at SARC’s Semiannual Meetings, held in conjunction with the annual meetings of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) each spring and the Connective Tissue Oncology Society (CTOS) each fall. Additional in-person and virtual sessions may be offered throughout the year to support emerging research priorities and opportunities for collaboration.

Through these symposia, SARC aims to strengthen connections across the sarcoma research community, encourage the exchange of scientific knowledge, and accelerate progress toward improved outcomes for patients affected by these rare and complex cancers.

SARC extends its sincere gratitude to Meyer & Renee Luskin and Sant & Kusum Chawla for their generous support and shared commitment to advancing sarcoma research and fostering collaboration across the scientific community.
