Eva gallagher phd announced as sarc vice chair

SARC is excited to announce that Eva Gallagher PhD, has accepted the new role as Vice Chair of the SARC Board of Directors beginning in 2024.  Dr. Gallagher currently serves as Head of Medical Affairs at Agios Pharmaceuticals and Assistant Professor, Georgetown University. She received her PhD in Nursing and Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota. Previously, she worked as a nurse practitioner in oncology and hematology and then transitioned into research within the biotech industry. Her extensive oncology career includes leadership roles within medical affairs where she is responsible for oversight of all scientific content as well as business development. Dr. Gallagher joined the SARC Board of Directors in January 2019 and is also a member of the SARC Development and Governance Committees.
