SARC MEETING Recap

SARC held its Semiannual Meeting on June 3, 2022, in Chicago at the annual American Society of Clinical Oncology conference (ASCO). The meeting attended by over 200 members of the research, clinical, pharmaceutical industries, as well as other stakeholders. We wish to extend our thanks to all who participated and collaborated to make this meeting a triumph.

One highlight was the keynote address from George Demetri, MD (Director, Sarcoma Center, and Senior VP for Experimental Therapeutics, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute; Co-Director, Ludwig Center at Harvard Medical School; Associate Director, Clinical Science, Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center), which included a follow-up question and answer session regarding accelerating translation and collaboration to develop effective new therapies for sarcoma patients.

In addition, we shared some updates to and insights from our current ongoing trials, SARC031, SARC032, SARC033, SARC037, SARC038 and SARC041, with combined efforts directed at Ewing’s sarcoma and osteosarcoma.
